About Me

Hi there! And a very warm welcome to The Mystery Corner, my little corner in the blogosphere. :) So I presume you’re on this page to find out a little bit more about the blog and myself.

Me in my favourite bookshopWell I just love mysteries and crime, both fiction and non-fiction. And no, I’m not a serial killer groupie… I am just fascinated by the puzzles you have to solve, both the classical whodunnit? (Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle) to the more thriller type murder mysteries you find today. I also enjoy learning about the forensic sciences and techniques they use to solve mysteries and even trying my hand at real cases, not that I’ve ever solved one, but I do enjoy trying to figure out my own theory based on the information I can gather from the internet and books. So this is where The Mystery Corner was born from, I wanted a platform where I could share all of this with other like-minded people.

The idea for The Mystery Corner is to present it like an online bookshop, similar to those little corner bookshops you like to browse in with a deliciously brewed cup of coffee from your favourite café. The only difference being that this little corner bookshop does not sell any books and we only cater for the mystery lovers.

So please, don’t be shy, you are welcome to browse around and if you don’t find what you are looking for drop me an email at natasha@themysterycorner.com or leave a thought and I’ll see what I can do.

Happy Hunting!

Hi there Natasha. Thanks for the review on your blog. I love that you focus on crime novels, Afrikaans included. What a wonderful idea. Can’t wait to see what your thoughts are on Broken Monsters. Irma Venter.
